Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor and record patient vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations).

• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and basic medical procedures.

• Collect samples for lab testing (urine, sputum, etc.).

• Document patient care accurately in charts/EHR systems.

• Report any changes in patient condition to the RN or physician promptly.

• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, feeding, mobility) when needed.

• Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times.

• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families.

• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
